Bartlett fundraiser for Almost Home Foundation

Dog Day Afternoon, a fundraiser for the Almost Home Foundation, which rescues homeless dogs and cats, will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, in front of Brolin's Scoops & Maddies Sips, a new ice cream shop at 144 Bartlett Plaza in Bartlett. Dogs and cats will be available for adoption. Canine Care Inc. will be offering massages, acupressure and behavior training; Boots & Tubbs Pet Grooming will be offering dog baths and grooming; Purr Photography will be taking photos; Fat Cat Pet Care & No Place Like Home will be offering pet sitting services; and Brolin's Scoops & Maddie's Sips is giving free vanilla scoops of ice cream and bottled water to all pets.
