Hanover Township Mental Health Board grant applications available

Grant applications for FY 14 are now available from the Hanover Township Mental Health Board.

Each year the Mental Health Board provides roughly $1 million in funding to agencies serving Hanover Township residents in the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities, substance abuse intervention and prevention. The FY14 funding period runs from April 1, 2013, to March 31, 2014.

Hanover Township serves over 99,000 residents in the communities of Streamwood, Elgin, Bartlett, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg. Agencies serving township residents in the above funding categories are encouraged to apply.

Grant applications and guidelines are available on the Hanover Township website at www.hanover-township.org or at the Township offices at 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett. Completed applications are due by Friday, Sept. 21. Agencies receiving funding will be notified in January.
