Dining events: Make way for Meatheads in Glen Ellyn

A fast-casual burger joint opens in Glen Ellyn. Meatheads serves fresh, never frozen Angus beef burgers starting at $4.50. Chicken sandwiches, New England-style hot dogs and crispy fries are on the menu as well. Chef-inspired burgers include the Cajun sunrise, made with a fried egg, pepper jack cheese, bacon, blue cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato and fresh jalapenos. Meatheads is at 549 E. Evening at the Pines

Enjoy the panoramic views of White Pines Golf Club during a four-course dinner starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24. The meal includes bruschetta and antipasto appetizers, a salad, entree and dessert.
