Shutout win for Antioch

Krystian Streit scored 2 goals and Bobby Miranda assisted on 2 as Antioch rolled past Crystal Lake Central 5-0 Monday for a shutout in its nonconference season opener.

The Sequoits also got goals from Andrew Burton, Erik VanTreeck and Lucas Semitka. Goalies Tommy Tritschler and Jeremy Pasterz teamed up to preserve the shutout.

Stevenson 4, Lakes 0: Both Jun Min and Mike Weinstein scored a goal and assisted on a goal as Stevenson opened the season with a shutout. The Patriots also got goals from Joe Hugener and Jared Moelaart. Goalies Chris Boutros and Quetin Low teamed up for the shutout.

Mundelein 4, Grayslake North 1: Lino Garcia scored 2 goals to lead Mundelein to victory in its season opener. The Mustangs also got a goal and an assist from Alex Nambo. Goalie Alex Espinoza had 5 saves for Mundelein.

Harvard 2, Wauconda 1: Giovanni Marquez scored Wauconda’s only goal. Goalie Jake Ortiz had 6 saves for the Bulldogs, who drop to 0-1 on the season.
