Palatine Twp., Board of Review host seminar on filing appeals
A pre-filing period has opened for Palatine Township residents to appeal their home’s assessed value.
Anyone with questions about their property assessments is invited to attend a seminar, “How to File a Property Tax Appeal with the Board of Review,” at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the Holiday Inn’s Algonquin Room, 3405 Algonquin Road, Rolling Meadows. Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak, his staff and Palatine Township Assessor Terry Kelly will be in attendance.
