The Ryder Cup is a "completely different animal" than the PGA Championship hosted six years ago by Medinah Country Club, Michael Belot, director of the 2012 Ryder Cup, told the Schaumburg Business Association.

Seventy-six corporate hospitality tents have been built at Medinah Country Club in preparation for the Ryder Cup next month.

Putting up the event's 76 corporate hospitality tents took four months. "You can build some pretty significant buildings and homes quicker than you can build a Ryder Cup site," said Ryder Cup Director Michael Belot.
