Nurses association lauds Advocate Good Shepherd

The Emergency Nurses Association has named Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital near Lake Barrington one of eight recipients of the second annual Lantern Award. The award recognizes emergency departments that exemplify exceptional and innovative performance in the core areas of leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research. “We are extremely proud of our Emergency Department staff,” said Karen Lambert, president of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. “The compassionate, high quality care our associates and physicians show for the over 32,000 patients we see in our ED each year, is a testament to their dedication and commitment in the field of emergency medicine.”
