Man killed by boat propeller on N. Indiana lake

PLYMOUTH, Ind. — Authorities say a man died at a northern Indiana lake after falling from a boat and being hit by its propeller.

State conservation officers say the man was a passenger on a boat pulling people on tubes Sunday and was sitting on the boat’s edge when it turned to pick up the tubers.

Officials say the man was pronounced dead at the scene at Lake Latonka a few miles southwest of Plymouth. The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.
