CLC art exhibit deadline near

The deadline to submit entry forms for the College of Lake County’s Recent Works 2012 exhibit is 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7. A total of $2,000 in cash prizes and purchase awards will be given to artists selected for the 32nd Annual Juried Exhibit for Lake County Artists at the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art at CLC in Grayslake. Entry forms may be delivered to the college library’s circulation desk, adjacent to the gallery. Artists who are 18 or older and live or work in Lake County may submit up to two entries of original work completed in the past two years that have never been shown in the CLC gallery. Entry fees for one or two pieces are $20 or $15 for Friends of the Gallery members. Works are due for the jury process on Sept. 11 or 12.
