Skip the sensational, present the facts

Skip the sensational, present the facts

Words can barely express my gratitude for your precarious, conscience-driven stand to minimize exploitation of the tragic event in Colorado.

Perhaps, if film producers could awake to the connection between their self-imposed mandate to actualize, on film, the exaggerated, imagined, sinister nature of mankind, they would realize that they are providing fuel for those already troubled individuals among us who seek notoriety in any form.

Realistically, we know how slowly culture shifts occur. In the meantime we can only hope others in the publishing business will follow your lead and adjust their coverage so as to eliminate the sensational, while presenting the facts.

But, for now, please accept my sincere thanks and hope that you will persevere on this critical decision you have made.
