Houseguest charged with theft of two Rolexes

A 19-year-old Hoffman Estates man has been charged with the theft of his and hers Rolex watches from a South Barrington home where he was a guest on Independence Day.

Naim Abu-Maizer of 5190 Shotkoski Drive in Hoffman Estates was charged with one count of theft on July 27.

South Barrington Deputy Police Chief Ray Cordell said Abu-Maizer was a guest in the home on Beacon Hill Drive on multiple occasions.

The two Rolexes, valued at $30,000 each, have been recovered.

Abu-Maizer’s bond was set at $25,000. His next court date is Aug. 3.
