A Hoffman Estates man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for the manufacturing and delivery of cocaine.
Malatios Jabbour, 36, of the 1800 block of Huntington Boulevard, was sentenced this week by Cook County circuit court Judge Kay Marie Hanlon, said Cook County state's attorney spokeswoman Tandra Simonton.
He was arrested on Dec. 22, 2010, by Hoffman Estates police, Simonton said. She did not have further details about the arrest.
According to court documents, the manufacturing and delivery of cocaine is classified as a Class X offense.
Jabbour was also fined $3,789 and sentenced to mandatory supervisory release for three years, Simonton said. He was given 33 days credit for time served.
