Palatine Park District to hold annual Canine Carnival on Aug. 2
The Palatine Park District will hold its annual Canine Carnival from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 262 E. Palatine Road, Palatine.
The event will feature games and activities for dogs, raffles, and a variety of vendors. All dogs must be leashed, wear a current rabies tag and be accompanied by a handler, age 16 and older.
Preregistration is required at palatineparks.org using program number 6727-2. Registration also can be completed at Community Center, Falcon Park or Birchwood. The fee is $8 per dog with a handler and includes a goody bag for all participants.
