Former Carol Stream Library Director Ann Kennedy said Thursday she knew her job was in jeopardy once longtime board member Rob Douglas stepped down. She was fired by the library board Wednesday in a 4-2 vote.

Kennedy had previously fired those board members' significant others. "There's no doubt this is personal,” said Kennedy, who has not made a decision about a wrongful termination suit.
