Two men receive prison sentences for child porn
Two suburban men have received federal prison sentences after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
Lubos Albrecht, 25, formerly of Lockport, was sentenced to 12 years and seven months in prison after pleading guilty in April to charges of transporting and possessing child pornography. Prosecutors said Albrecht had just begun working as a live-in baby sitter for a family in Wheaton when he was arrested in March 2010. Investigators uncovered more than 10,000 images and 1,000 videos of child pornography on Albrecht’s computer at the time of his arrest, prosecutors said. Albrecht will have to serve 20 years of supervision when he is released from prison, according to court records.
Bruce R. Biehler, 56, formerly of Arlington Heights, was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography in May 2009. He was arrested in October 2007 at a hotel where he was living. Federal investigators found more than 2,200 images and 200 videos of child pornography on his computer, according to court records. Biehler was ordered to be kept under court supervision for life when he finishes his prison sentence, records show.
An FBI task force was responsible for Albrecht’s arrest and a U.S. Secret Service investigation nabbed Biehler, authorities said.
