Railroad repairs to close Dundee Road in Wheeling
Drivers in Wheeling will need to detour around a railroad crossing repair project that will close part of Dundee Road for a week in August.
The Canadian National Railway Company is replacing the railroad crossing on Dundee Road between Wheeling Road and Northgate Parkway, closing Dundee Road at the crossing.
According to a project report, the railroad work will make the crossing smoother and improve traffic flow across the tracks.
The road will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, through 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10.
Eastbound Traffic will be detoured south on Wheeling Road, east on Hintz Road and north on Wolf Road. Westbound Traffic will be detoured south on Wolf Road, west on Hintz Road and north on Wheeling Road.
