Adults in the Barrington area are invited to participate in a conversation regarding the recent shootings in Aurora, Colo., from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the Barrington Public Safety Building, 400 N. Northwest Hwy., first floor training room.
The discussion is hosted by H.E.R.E. in Barrington, a community coalition that promotes mental health, and will be led by mental health professionals from the Barrington area.
It will focus on how adults can help each other and their children process this tragedy and other traumatic events in a healthy, constructive manner.
The public is invited.
