Village of Lombard Announces Public Information Meeting on Madison Street/Route 53 Intersection Improvements

PROJECT SCOPE

The project proposes to make improvements to the intersection of Madison Street and Illinois Route 53 and to provide a traffic signal, which includes widening Illinois Route 53 for the addition of a northbound right turn lane and a southbound left turn lane. The project also proposes to modify Madison Street between Illinois Route 53 and Finley Road by installing curb and gutters, storm sewers, sidewalks, and street lighting.
