Schaumburg Wolf Camera to close
A Wolf Camera store in Schaumburg will be shuttered by the end of the month.
An employee confirmed Tuesday that the store, located at 500 W. Golf Road, is selling liquidation merchandise and will officially close on Monday, July 30.
Wolf Camera is part of Ritz Camera Centers Inc., which filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 in February 2009.
Ritz Camera spokeswoman Patty Hawkins said the company has “a lot of stores closing” including the Schaumburg location. She did not have information available regarding how long the store had been open or how many employees are losing their jobs.
