'Idol' winner DeWyze of Mt. Prospect gets married
“American Idol” winner and Mt. Prospect native Lee DeWyze married model/actress Jonna Walsh Saturday in California, according to People magazine.
Walsh walked down the aisle to song titled “Who Would Have Known,” which DeWyze penned for the occasion. “It's a personal song that will be on my next album,” DeWyze told the magazine.
The singer met Walsh — whose resume includes the TV series “No Ordinary Family” and the film “Couples Retreat” — in October 2010 while filming the video for DeWyze's first single, “Sweet Serendipity.”
They got engaged on a private yacht at Disney World in July of last year; they plan to honeymoon in Bali.
