Wadsworth golf tournament benefit

Register by July 20 to participate in the Kevin Klassic, a scramble golf tournament at the Midlane Golf Club, 4555 York House Road, in Wadsworth. The event is Aug. 1 at 7:30 a.m. The registration fee is $80 per golfer, which includes golf, a golf cart, lunch and five raffle tickets. The deadline to register is July 20. Make your reservation by mailing the fee to Kevin Klassic, 25659 Grant, Ingleside, Ill., 60041. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event. There will also be a putting contest for a prize. The Kevin Klassic honors the memory of Kevin Scheel and raises scholarship funds for young men and women working to maintain their sobriety at Serenity House in Addison.
