The Batavia Depot Museum will present the sixth annual Quilt & Textile Show Friday, July 20, to Sunday, July 22, at the Eastside Community Center and Shannon Hall, 14 N. Van Buren St.

This year’s show will feature a traveling display of art and science quilts by the Professional Art Quilt Alliance.

Visitors will have the chance to browse more than 150 historical and contemporary quilts or stop by the vendor hall to shop for a variety of items, participate in vendor raffles, or view various demonstrations.

Show hours are 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, July 20, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22. Admission is $6 for the general public, $5 for seniors 60 and older, and free for children 10 and younger.

Concessions will be available Friday, July 20, and lunch will be available Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22. Proceeds benefit Valley Sheltered Workshops.

Join Joan Vidlak at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, in Kemp Hall, 18 N. Van Buren St., for a special program titled “Aprons Through the Ages.” Aprons stir up memories of home, motherhood, recipes and holidays. Learn about the colorful and profound history of aprons and the place they have held in the home.

Aprons from the Colonial era to present time will be displayed. The audience is encouraged to share stories and ask questions. Aprons will be available for purchase. The cost is $5; registration is requested.

The Quilt & Textile show is presented by the Batavia Depot Museum and sponsored by Prairie Shop Quilts in Batavia.
