Bloomingdale PD huge help in storm

I want to thank the Bloomingdale Police Department for their extraordinary help during the power outage of Sunday, July 1. I was unable to open my garage door, cook on my electric range. Within 10 minutes of my phone call to the police department, Officer Colin Trusk was at my door. He drove me to the gas station, helped me buy what was needed to start the generator, and drove me home.

He started the generator and showed me how to add additional gas to the generator when needed. He hooked up all the extensions and made sure all was in working condition.

The next morning Officer Trusk was at my door with a fellow officer to make sure we were all right. The power had been restored by then. The two officers disconnected the generator and placed it back in my garage, They made sure we were all right. I also want to thank Police Chief Frank Giammarese for having such a well run department.
