Visitors and residents of St. Charles are invited to Applaud, Create, and Get Away as arts and business organizations across the city reunite for the second annual St. Charles Summer Theater Festival.
Devised by John Gawlik, artistic director for Fox Valley Repertory, the first festival was inaugurated in July 2011. Returning to St. Charles, July 6-22, the festival will condense the community's creative charm into weekends of concerts, dramas, new play-readings, and interactive art demonstrations.
As a part of this effort, Kevin Costner & Modern West are bringing their concert tour to the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, and they invite the city to party with a Hollywood superstar — country style. The performance will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Arcada, 105 E. Main St. in St. Charles. Tickets are $49 and up. For more information, visit www.oshows.com.
