The program was started in 2003 as a partnership between the park district and District 21. The program provides educational life skills to parents of second-language families while their children enjoy supervised recreation activities.

Spots are still available for the golf outing, but are going fast. Registration is $95 per person and includes dinner. Sponsor options are available starting at $150. For more information, or to register, call (847) 465-3333. For more information on the Family Learning Program, visit
