Metra seeks input at open house

A series of open houses, including one in Libertyville, continue as Metra, the commuter rail agency, seeks input from riders, the public, elected officials and others as it begins to craft its first strategic plan in several decades. The Libertyville session is 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the village hall, 118 W. Cook Ave. Metra says it wants to hear from as many people as possible as it formulate its mission and vision going forward. Another round of open houses is expected this fall.
