Illinois State Fair has discount ticket for rides
SPRINGFIELD — It’s the last week for a deal on the Illinois State Fair carnival ride Mega Pass.
The Mega Pass is good for an unlimited number of rides on the Adventure Village and Carnival Midway attractions during the fair in Springfield. The discounted price of $55 is available now. But, after Saturday, the price goes up to $65.
The Mega Pass office is located in the Emmerson Building on Main Street on the fairgrounds and will be open until 6 p.m. all this week. It also will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Next week, the office resumes its regular hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The 2012 Illinois State Fair is scheduled to run Aug. 9 through 19.
