Hawthorn Woods Kids Triathlon
Children ages 9 to 11 living in Hawthorn Woods can enjoy a brisk swim, run, and bike ride Saturday, July, 14, at Hawthorn Woods Kids Triathlon. The triathlon is set for 8 a.m. through 11 a.m., starting with a swim at the Hawthorn Woods Aquatic Center, 94 Midlothian Road. Kids can take a bike ride through scenic Hawthorn Woods and run through Heritage Oak Park, 25571 North Fairfield Road, at the baseball pavilion. The last day to register for the event is Thursday, July 12. If you have questions or concerns regarding the event, contact aquatic center coordinator Dawn Johnson at (847) 847-3539.
