Fertility race Saturday in Palatine

The first Illinois Race for the Family to raise funds for families undergoing infertility treatment or pursuing domestic adoption is being held from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Deer Grove Forest Preserve, 1898 N. Quentin Road, Palatine. The event includes a 5k race, one mile walk, free outdoor family festival, raffle of a fertility treatment cycle valued at about $12,400, and a silent auction of a cruise package and other items.
