About this Article

Winning a pair of state wrestling titles didn't affect the work ethic or approach of Schaumburg's Josh Marchok. The Stanford-bound wrestler also started for three years on the varsity football team and did it while succeeding academically and failing to call attention to himself. For all of that, Marchok is the Cook County Daily Herald Male Athlete of the Year for 2011-12.
