Backyard makeover Week 5: Staycation — who needs Disney?

An injury will keep this family at home all summer, and they are looking to turn their yard into a resort-style yard that will be the center of their summer entertaining.

A fire pit combined with a discovery area including a path and boulders will make the back of the yard a destination for visitors.

Those needing a little downtime will find it under a new shade tree and hammock off to the side.

Bold, colorful pots lining the deck will help create a resort style. Add in some tiki torches and a fun topiary, and you'll feel like you're at Disney.
