Harper, Rep. Crespo to offer jobseeker assistance

Beginning June 14, state Rep. Fred Crespo and the Harper College Career Stimulus Program will team up every Thursday to help jobseekers with their search and their resumes.

Sessions held the first and third Thursdays of each month will be 3-5 p.m. in Crespo’s constituent services office, 1014 E. Schaumburg Road in Streamwood. On the second and fourth Thursdays of each month will be held 1-3 p.m. at Harper College’s Workforce and Economic Development office, 650 E. Higgins Road in Schaumburg.

Resume development experts from Harper College will be available to help residents improve and develop their resumes.

“We need to provide every resource possible to help put people back to work and ensure they have ample opportunities to search for jobs and work on their resumes,” Crespo said. “I am offering my office resources for free to jobseekers to help in their search for full employment.”

For more information, or to schedule a time, contact Crespo’s full-time constituent services office at (630) 372-3340.
