The girl told police on May 15 that she was groped at the Target, 3885 E. Main St., and that she recognized Muniz from a newspaper article, police said.

Muniz also faces misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct charges from incidents May 11 and 12, in which he is accused of touching a 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old girl, respectively, according to a police report.

Each charge carries a sentence of up to a year in jail if convicted.

Muniz is due in court June 21 and is free on bond while his case is pending.
