About this Article

Tanya Wexler grew up in Lincoln Park, but spent her childhood summers in Long Grove. She's now a New York filmmaker with a new comedy "Hysteria" coming out on May 25. She said that to be a filmmaker requires both arrogance and naivete. "Arrogance in that you're the person who's supposed to be running and directing this big endeavor," she said. "And the naivete to think you can get it done."
