Beloved Geneva teacher remembered for her dedication

For Mary Hogan Bencini, being a second-grade teacher in Geneva wasnt just a career, it was a calling and passion. Bencini would stay in touch with former students through birthday cards and letters of encouragement after her students moved to third grade and beyond. Mary Hogan Bencini taught us that the way to live is to give back, recalled friend Loy Williams at a memorial service Saturday.
