Update: A late start at the United Center welcomes the surging Boston Celtics, who had won 15 of 20 games heading into Wednesday's home date against San Antonio. After a slow start to the season, SF Paul Pierce averaged 22.3 points per game in March. PF Kevin Garnett also has picked it up, posting 17.5 points and 8.1 rebounds in the last 10 games. PG Rajon Rondo has had at least 10 assists in 13 straight contests. SG Ray Allen missed six games with an ankle injury but was expected back Wednesday. The Bulls are 2-1 against Boston this season.

Next: New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, noon Sunday
