Streamwood High School puts on powerful 'West Side Story'

Streamwood High School will stage Leonard Bernstein's romantic, tragic tale, “West Side Story.”

The musical featuring warring gangs the Sharks and the Jets will be staged April 4-5 and April 12-14.

The curtain for all shows is 7 p.m., except for a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday, April 14.

Admission for U-46 students is $5, $8 for adults before April 4; $10 at the door.
