St. Gilbert boys volleyball takes second

The St. Gilbert Catholic School eighth grade boys volleyball team took second place in a tournament sponsored by St. Peter School in Antioch recently. First place went to St. Anastasia. The boys defeated Montini and St. Peter to make it to the finals. Coaches for the St. Gilbert volleyball team are Natalia Casper and Rey Fuller. Team members are: Brett Anderberg, Tyler Barta, Pete Bitto, James Bryant, Dalton Bugaj, Ryan Casper, Michael Cusack, Quaid DeLacluyse, Kyle Fisher, Ryan Fuller, Charlie Hauff, Matthew Pauly, Austin Thomsen and Nathan Timmins.

St. Gilbert Catholic School in Grayslake serves over 600 students in prekindergarten through eighth grade. Applications are now being accepted for the 2012-13 school year.
