Dundee-Crown tops Sycamore

Dundee-Crown’s softball team won for the second time in three games this season on Friday, defeating Sycamore 5-1 on the road.

Amanda Eissler pitched the complete game for the Chargers, allowing just 3 hits and no earned runs. She struck out 2 and walked 1.

Melany Love was 2-for-4 with a double and 3 RBI for D-C, while Eissler (2-for-4, 2B), Lauren Mercado (3-for-4), Laure Lococo (2-for-4, 2B) and Malory Schilf (3-for-4, 2 RBI) each contributed to the Chargers’ 12-hit attack.

Dundee-Crown is scheduled to host Streamwood in an 11 a.m. doubleheader today.
