Kindergarten preregistration for Wauconda Unit District 118 is Wednesday, April 11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at three district schools. Students must be 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2012 and live within the boundaries of District 118 to be eligible to preregister for kindergarten. Parents will be asked to complete the necessary paperwork to enroll their child and to bring the following documents: two pieces of proof of residency and your child's state-issued birth certificate. Registration packets may be picked up in advance at the school offices beginning April 2.
