Daily Herald report

Doing some spring cleaning? Have any books, audiobooks, DVDs or music CDs you'd like to donate? The Friends of the Grayslake Area Public Library is seeking donations of these items for their book sales. They are able to "reuse" and find new homes for previously loved books and other items, and the proceeds support library programs, services, and initiatives. Recent proceeds have been used to sponsor winter and summer concert series, film series and purchase defibrillators for the library. Your donation is tax deductible. The Spring Book Sale is April 13-15 at the library at 100 Library Lane, Grayslake. Sale hours are: April 13, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; April 14, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; April 15 bag sale, 1 to 4 p.m. For information, contact Merleanne Rampale, (847) 223-5313 x 214 or, or online at
