Learn the different classes of fire, their behavior and its importance when selecting a fire extinguisher on Saturday, March 10 at 8 a.m. at Vernon Hills High School. This one-hour training will provide information and hands-on experience in using a fire extinguisher. This fire safety lesson includes smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, kitchen and fireplace hazards, as well as general burn prevention. Tuition for the class is $5. Registration is required.
