Palatine Tea Party, Illinois Policy Institute hold grass-roots training

The Illinois Policy Institute will put on its Adopt-A-District grass-roots activist training from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the Palatine Public Library, 700 N. North Court.

The Palatine Tea Party will join the organization in sponsoring the event, which is free and open to the public. Brian Costin will teach citizens how to follow state issues.

All participants will receive a copy of the institute’s 2011-12 “Legislators’ Guide to the Issues,” 2011 Illinois Legislators’ Vote Card, Illinois Handbook on Government and more. To register, visit illinoispolicy.org/events.
