The Round Lake Area Park District hosts a Frosty Footrace 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, Feb. 26. The event is at Sports Center, 2004 Municipal Way, Round Lake Beach. Check in is at 9 a.m. and the race begins at 11 a.m. All proceeds will benefit future senior fitness programs at the Round Lake Area Park District. Race day packets will be available at the Sports Center on the day of the event. To view the race map, go to: www.usatf.org/routes/view.asp?rID=417212. The preregistration cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children; the cost at the event is $25 for adults and $12 for children. For information call, (847) 740-1111.
