text size: AAA
By Daily Herald report

Des Plaines police reported an incident Wednesday in which a male passenger in a light blue Buick got out of the car at Princeton and Ardmore streets around 3:30 p.m. and called to a 12-year-old girl walking home from school. He asked her if she needed a ride home. She ignored him and kept walking. He did not make any further advances and the car drove away. He was described having an Afro hair style, a heavyset build and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
