Skinny: DePaul looked to be gaining some momentum in the Big East with a 69-64 victory at Rutgers on Jan. 25. The Blue Demons have lost their last two conference games despite holding leads at home against St. John's last Wednesday and Saturday at Cincinnati. DePaul has some injury issues as well. Senior point guard Jeremiah Kelly sat out the last two games with a sore hip, and sophomore guard/forward Moses Morgan did not make the trip to Cincinnati after fainting during practice Thursday; Morgan scored a career-high 19 points vs. St. John's. Sophomore forward Cleveland Melvin has a combined 40 points and 24 rebounds in the last two games. Marquette lost Saturday at Notre Dame, snapping a seven-game Big East winning streak. Sophomore forward Davante Gardner, the Golden Eagles' third-leading scorer, has missed the last two games with a knee injury. DePaul has lost five of its last six against Marquette.

Last meeting: The Blue Demons lost at Marquette 94-64 last season.

Next: DePaul travels to Notre Dame on Saturday.
