I want to educate the public on the role of the Kane County Recorder's office, educate them on the services that are available and the importance of the Recorders Office in maintaining and protecting the records of their most valuable asset-their property.

During these hard economic times it is prudent upon us to always find ways too improve the technology for the constituents while making it cost affective for the residents of Kane County.
I am a firm believer in transparency and community engagement. It is very important that people understand how the department functions and to engage them in the improvements. Example: Holding quarterly meetings throughout the county and offering late evening hours to better accomadate the public needs.
Fiscal Reponsibilty is a great concern of mine; therefore maintaining open communication and working coopereratively will serve the best interest for the residents of Kane County.
Elected Officials generally put in many hours representing their constiuents from driving to meet with them, doing research, and attending events. Some elected officials have other jobs and opt out of the county insurance, but for those who receive the insurance it is my understanding that there is a cost to them and they pay a portion of it.
The Ethics Ordinance was amended in 2010 and I support that ordinance.
