Update: So far, No. 1 overall draft pick Kyrie Irving looks like the man to beat for rookie of the year. The 6-foot-3 point guard is averaging 17.7 points and 5.2 assists, while shooting an impressive 48.6 percent from the field. Veteran PF Antawn Jamison is contributing 17.0 ppg, while center Anderson Varejao seems rejuvenated at 9.8 points and 11.4 rebounds. The Bulls went 4-0 against the Cavs in their first season without LeBron James.

Next: Charlotte Bobcats at the United Center, 7 p.m. Saturday
