Pete's 5 Alarm Chili

1 pound ground pork

1 pound ground sirloin, 96 percent lean

1 large sweet onion, chopped

3 jalapeño peppers

1 habanero pepper

3 cans (29 ounces each) tomato sauce

1 can (18 ounces) tomato paste

2 packets (1.25 ounces each) hot chili spices (such as McCormick's

1 can (40 ounces) chili hot beans

1 medium green pepper, seeded and diced

1 medium red pepper, seeded and diced

Shredded cheddar cheese

Sour cream

In a large skillet, brown pork; drain off fat and transfer to a large soup pot. In the same skillet, brown beef with the onion. Add to soup pot along with the tomato sauce, tomato paste, spices, beans and diced peppers.Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer 2 hours. Garnish with shredded cheese and sour cream.Serves six to eight.
