Bartlett looking into iPads for board members

Bartlett trustee Greg Martin asked his fellow board members Tuesday what they thought about asking village staff to research purchasing iPads for board members in an effort to save money on paper and printing costs. The trustees were open to his idea, but decided that staff should wait until early next year to do the research. They also all agreed that the issue was not urgent and that staff members will need to throughly look into the cost of the iPads and determine if they will truly save money in the long-term. It is likely a committee will first review the staff’s findings before they are presented to the village board for a possible vote.
